After shipping many machines thousands of miles, we can acknowledge that our shipping method and packing is very successful with no problems at all. The only problem is pricing. The National Association tasked with rating shipments has increased the Class of this machine by more than 100% since July which has translated to more than doubling of shipping costs even with our discounts. In talking to the representatives, it appears that part of the problem is in their knowledge and education, which is severely lacking. They do a poor job in relating a shipment cost to ease of handling and delivery, which is supposed to be one of their goals. We have been successful in changing their classifications in other areas but it is a lengthy and complicated bureacratic process. We still give liftgate delivery option without any extra fee.
